PURPOSE

Small Batch Roasting Co. is a boutique Australian roaster that values ethically sourced beans, meticulous craft, and has a deep respect for the sensory experience of coffee. The current website, however, doesn't reflect that. Friction in navigation, unclear product presentation, and a lack of visual warmth leave both potential and returning customers underserved. This project reimagines the website by honouring the brand's rustic style while delivering the clarity and quality specialty coffee buyers expect.

APPROACH

APPROACH

In this three part assignment, the goal is to analyse friction points, ideate, prototype, then transfer figma designs to code with Vanilla CSS, HTML and JS. There was use of semantic containers and efforts to make the website as responsive as possible so that the layout stays error-free in both desktop and mobile viewport widths. Anthropic was used as a tool plugin to read Figma files and translate them into code.
